At one of our day-long seminars, you will engage with leading academics on important constitutional principles, historical events, and Supreme Court rulings. Led by a Master Teacher, you will spend time with your fellow educators exploring ways to bring your knowledge to the classroom using Bill of Rights Institute materials and teaching strategies. Each participant in our one-day programs is given a professional development certificate showing completion of 6 contact hours of instruction. State and local requirements for continuing education credits vary widely, but we are happy to provide any documentation that a participating teacher may need to satisfy these requirements.
At this time, the Bill of Rights Institute is planning to host in-person programming in the fall of 2020 but we plan to closely monitor the public health conditions and state and local guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will do our part to keep our participants and communities safe and if travel or gathering is ill-advised at the time of the program, we will explore alternative programming, and host online opportunities for professional development.
Details will be provided to participants if these changes become necessary.
